As the world continues to become more technologically focused, it is worthwhile to be introduced to computer science and programming at a younger age. This project-based class focuses on learning some core computer programming fundamentals with fun characters, projects, and game-making for younger students!
We use the Scratch programming language, which is a block-based programming language developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for the purpose of teaching programming in a fun interactive way.
This class will use a web-based block coding platform for learning on scratch.mit.edu. This means no downloads or installations will be required besides the class video streaming platform to view our virtual class.
